Versant, the company behind cable networks such as MS NOW, CNBC and USA, is pushing further into streaming with four new free ad-supported channels built on well-known programming from CNBC, Oxygen and E!. Once they debut, the company will operate 13 FAST outlets.
Cable channels still supply most of Versant's revenue, but the company has been building out digital extensions alongside them. The new group includes Snapped, Botched, Oxygen Murders of America and CNBC Ambition.
Snapped chronicles the lives of women charged with murder and has aired on Oxygen since 2004. Botched, from E!, looks at the highs and lows of plastic surgery. Oxygen Murders of America is a true-crime documentary series. CNBC Ambition features stories of entrepreneurship, innovation, wealth creation and success, drawing on a range of primetime series that previously aired on the business-news network.
All four channels become available on Prime Video in the U.S. starting October 27. Staggered launches on The Roku Channel will begin November 3. Versant said it expects to introduce more FAST channels on additional platforms in the coming months.
"Growing our digital platforms and reaching new audiences are central to Versant's strategy," said Dave Pietrycha, chief revenue and business officer of Versant, in a statement. He added that bringing more programming to Prime Video and The Roku Channel "extends the reach of our iconic brands and provides audiences with more ways to discover content they value wherever they watch."
The launches fit a broader effort by Versant to diversify its operations and revenue streams. In many cases that has meant developing direct-to-consumer services tied to its mainstay cable networks. In others, it has meant acquiring businesses that could strengthen existing operations.
Versant's FAST portfolio started with six channels. The company added three more through its January 2026 acquisition of Free TV Networks.
Prime Video and The Roku Channel already carry several Versant-linked channels, including Pam Grier's Soul Flix, American Crimes, Oxygen True Crime Archives, E! Keeping Up, Bad Girls Club and GolfPass. Prime Video also offers 365BLK and Outlaw.
